Why do you need to complete Diisocyanate training?

The importance of Diisocyanate training: A deadline to safeguard company success.

For those dealing with Polyurethane Adhesives, managing application risk is essential. As of August 24th, 2023, completing Diisocyanate training is compulsory for users of polyurethane products. This will apply to professional and industrial users of products containing over 0.1 total monomer diisocyanate. Once completed the training needs to be repeated every five years.

This regulation aims to mitigate respiratory and skin hypersensitivity triggered by diisocyanates, requiring training before handling products containing these compounds.

Why is diisocyanate training important?

Regulatory Compliance

Mandatory Diisocyanate training ensures compliance with industry regulations, avoiding fines and legal consequences.

Ensuring Employee Safety

Diisocyanates in Polyurethane Adhesives pose health risks if mishandled. Training equips employees to handle them safely, preventing accidents and health issues.
