Adtech 4030 Low Bloom Cyanoacrylate

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

This non-toxic, user friendly adhesive provides a clear glue line free of blooming and is virtually odourless.

Adtech® 4030 is primarily used where a good cosmetic finish is essential (i.e. no bloom) or in confined production areas where odours/vapours cannot be controlled by ventilation. Adtech® 4030 has excellent adhesion to most materials including metals, plastics, rubbers, glass, ceramics and fabrics.

PREPARATION AND APPLICATION

Ensure that the surfaces to be bonded are smooth, clean and free from dust or other deposits. Apply adhesive sparingly to one surface, align the components and bring the surfaces together quickly. Apply sufficient clamping pressure to ensure the adhesive spreads out effectively. Allow to fully cure before applying load or stress. Excess adhesive can be carefully cleaned up with solvents such as acetone.

Handling and Storage

Use with proper ventilation.  Avoid contact with skin and eyes.  If contact with skin occurs, rinse with warm water or dissolve gradually with appropriate debonder.  Do not try to remove forcibly.  If adhesive gets into eye, keep eye open and rinse thoroughly. Seek medical attention immediately.  Keep well out of reach of children.

Adtech® 4030 should be stored in the original containers in a cool, dry place, at a temperature range of between 5°C and 7°C. In these conditions it has a storage life of at least 12 months.
