Adtech 953 Two Component Polyurethane Adhesive

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Adtech® 953 is suitable for bonding of corner connectors and joint restoration of gypsum fibre boards.

Adtech® 953 is supplied in twin barrelled mixer cartridges and applied using an applicator gun and mixer nozzle.

PREPARATION AND APPLICATION

Ensure that the surfaces to be bonded are smooth, clean and free from dust or other deposits. Most construction grade materials are suitable such as wood, concrete, brick, insulation materials, porous and non-porous.

Remove the cap from the cartridge and attach the mixer nozzle provided. Insert the cartridge into the applicator, and dispense sufficient adhesive to ensure equal coverage on the substrate to be bonded. Apply adhesive to one surface and assemble components carefully. Clamp if required. Allow the adhesive sufficient time to reach handling strength before moving or unclamping the components.

The adhesive quickly sets up sufficiently to hold components in position but full cure will require up to 24 hours.

Always test Adtech® 953 to determine suitability for your particular application prior to use in production.

Adtech® 953 should be stored in the original cartridges in a cool, dry place, at a temperature range of between 5°C and 25°C. In these conditions it has a storage life of at least 6 months.
