Adtech® AD3295 is a two component structural methacrylate adhesive, designed for the bonding of high strength metal and composite applications.
Adtech® AD3295 has been formulated from innovative technology, which enables Adtech® AD3295 to achieve the ultimate balance of mechanical strength and impact resistance whilst still remaining both simple and quick to use.
Adtech® AD3295 is very versatile, and can bond a wide variety of substrates without the need for surface primers or conditioners. Typical applications include bonding of metal fasteners into composite parts, bonding of large GRP structures and bonding of dissimilar metals in fabrication applications.
Ensure that the surfaces to be bonded are smooth, clean and free from dust or other deposits. Apply adhesive sparingly to one surface, align the components and bring the surfaces together quickly. Apply sufficient clamping pressure to ensure the adhesive spreads out effectively. Allow to fully cure before applying load or stress. Excess adhesive can be carefully cleaned up with solvents such as acetone..
It is always easier to remove any excess adhesive prior to curing using a suitable cleaner. Use with proper ventilation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If adhesive gets into eye, keep eye open and rinse thoroughly. Seek medical attention immediately. Keep well out of reach of children.
Adtech® AD3295 should be stored in the original containers in a cool, dry place, at a temperature range of between 5°C and 25°C. In these conditions it has a storage life of at least 12 months.
