Aerodux 185 liquid resin is mixed with hardener Hardener HRP155, to provide a range of phenol-resorcinol adhesives which is fully weatherproof and especially suited to the manufacture of large laminated timber structures.
Aerodux 185 together when mixed with Hardener HRP155 can be used for all waterproof and heat resistant bond requirements. Widely used in the Structural Timber Engineering sector for the manufacture of large laminated structures as well as heat resistant composite products e.g. Fire Doors.
Aerodux 185 is also suitable for use in the production of heat resistant composite structures, eg fire-resisting doors. It is resistant to acids, weak alkalis, solvents and boiling water.
Aerodux 185 together when mixed with Hardener HRP155 meet the requirements of EN301-Type 1 and BS1203 (Type WBP). Prefere 4050 has been tested according to the German Standard DIN 68141 by the MPA, Otto-Graf-Institut in Germany and found to be suited for gluing load-bearing wooden structures for indoor and exterior use in accordance with DIN 1052.
Aerodux 185 and Hardener HRP155 are simple to prepare. The resin is mixed with the hardener on with a 5:1 ratio by weight . It is essential that Hardener HRP155 is well stirred pouring from the container, as the filler can occasionally separate. Add the required amount of the hardener and mix thoroughly.

Aerodux 185 should be stored firmly sealed in the original container in a cool (ideally 5 – 20°C) dry place. Shelf life under these conditions is at least 18 months.

Prefere 4535 is a clear liquid melamine-urea resin adhesive, which is used with liquid hardener Prefere 5035 to give a fully weatherproof and structural bond.
