Aerotak is fitted with a variable discharge actuator that controls the width of the fan.
Aerotak is ideal for use in the furniture, flooring and automotive industries, especially for bonding foam to a wide range of surfaces and for use in repair and non-structural applications where a high strength bond is required. Aerotak should not be used for constructional purposes such as unsupported head linings in vehicles and boats.
Ensure that the surfaces to be bonded are smooth, clean and free from dust or other deposits.
Shake before use. Set the variable nozzle to the desired pattern. Hold the nozzle 150 – 200mm away from the substrate. For a strong bond, spray a number of light coats on to both surfaces. For a light bond, apply to one surface only. Allow a few moments for solvents to evaporate. Press surfaces firmly together working outwards from the centre. Excess adhesive is easily removed by using white spirit or acetone. When finished invert the can and spray for a few seconds to clear nozzle.
Aerotak when uncured can be removed with cleaning solvent such as white spirit and acetone.
Aerotak should be stored in the original containers in a cool, dry place, at a temperature range of between 5°C and 25°C. In these conditions it has a storage life of at least 12 months.
