Aro-Bond 3035 has been formulated as a versatile, high performance adhesive for product assembly and has a high cohesive strength with good adhesion to a wide variety of plastics and other surfaces.
Aro-Bond 3035 bonds well to most plastics, e.g. acrylics, polyethylene, polypropylene, a.b.s., polystyrene, polycarbonate and phenolic resins.
It is also suitable for bonding aluminium, ceramics, fibreglass, hard and soft woods.
Ensure that the surfaces to be bonded are smooth, clean and free from dust or other deposits.
Aro-Bond 3035 is applied using hot melt application machinery. Suggested methods of application include jet, nozzle and roller coating. The suggested application temperature is between 170°C to 190°C but application equipment and effect of heat on the substrates to be bonded must be taken into account.
Use protective clothing and take normal precautions when using hot liquids.
Burns: do not attempt to remove cold adhesive from skin – seek medical advice.
Hot Fumes: Do not inhale. Use in well ventilated areas.
Fire Risk: Use at recommended running temperatures.
