  • Fast drying
  • Good heat resistance
  • Long open time
  • Multiple applications

PREPARATION AND APPLICATION

Ensure that the surfaces to be bonded are smooth, clean and free from dust or other deposits.

Surfaces to be bonded should be preconditioned with the adhesive to a temperature within the range 15 - 20°C. Aro-Bond® 680 should be stirred before use.

For best results, Aro-Bond® 680 should be applied using a pump or pressure pot system. Operating the gun approximately 225-300mm from the workpiece, the adhesive should be applied in a fine and even coat to both surfaces to be bonded. After allowing at least 2 minutes for the solvent to flash off, carefully align the substrates and then bring surfaces together using maximum pressure relative to the materials being bonded. Pressure may be applied using a double handed roller, nip roller or a platen press as long as the substrates will not be crushed. Optimum performance is dependent on sufficient pressure being applied. Handling and trimming may be commenced immediately.

Handling and Storage

Consult Material Safety Data Sheet prior to use.

Aro-Bond® 680 should be stored in the original containers in a cool, dry place, at a temperature range of between 10°C and 25°C. In these conditions it has a storage life of 6 months. Aro-Bond® 680 must not be allowed to freeze.
