When mixed Aro-Bond® 925 cures to form a hard, tough, resilient bond which is resistant to water, solvents and heat.
Aro-Bond® 925 is ideal for gap filling bonds between masonry, stone, timber, GRC, GRP, decorative fascias, insulation wall boards, steel frames and a wide variety of materials. It has excellent water resistance properties. It can be effectively used as a water resistant coating and tanking for kitchen and bathroom pods. It has found particular use in bonding moulded polyurethane tile to pavements in exterior applications.
Ensure that both surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry and free from dust.
Mix 5.7 parts of base (A) with 1 part of curing agent (B), by weight or alternatively a complete kit.
Apply the mixed adhesive to the base substrate by means of a scraper or notched trowel.
Bed the material to be bonded into adhesive and allow to cure.
The adhesive quickly sets up sufficiently to hold components in position but full cure will require up to 24 hours.
Close lids immediately after use as moisture causes deterioration of unmixed adhesives.
Ceramic or polished surfaces should be abraded prior to bonding.
It is resistant to water, chemicals and extreme temperatures (-30 to +150°C) once fully cured.

Hi, I am interested in the product ARO-BOND 925 two component high performance polyurethane adhesive. When I read the technical datasheet, I noticed the tack life is around 20-30 min. Could I double check the meaning of tack life with you? Is it the time from mixing to the unusable viscosity?
Do I need to press the bond surface after glue application, for example, by using clamp, or some other methods? The requirement for pressing is not mentioned in the technical datasheet.

Thank you for your enquiry.
Tack life is the amount of time you have to ensure the adhesive is in contact with the substrate it is bonding to. So, for example if you mix Aro-Bond 925 at 13.00 hrs you have until 13.20 to 13.30 to ensure that the substrates are brought together and placed under pressure.
Regarding pressure required this will depend on the type of substrates you are bonding.

Is it possible to order a smaller size? I would like to use this adhesive for research purpose. Only 1 kg is enough for the laboratory tests.

Thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately the 5kg size is the smallest available. We are unable to decant down further.
