Aro-Seal 1109 Surface Activator

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Aro-Seal® 1109 surface activator which is used in conjunction with Aro-Seal MS and Hybrid Polymers to improve adhesion on plastics.

ARO-SEAL® 1109 improves the adhesion on powder coated aluminium (window profiles), both for regular and for textured powder coatings. It also improves the adhesion on various plastics, for example, PVC, ABS.

Preparation and application

Ensure that the surfaces to be bonded are smooth, clean and free from dust or other deposits.  Apply with a cloth.  Wipe surfaces in the same direction.  Replace cloth regularly when dirty.  Leave to evaporate for approximately 5 minutes.  Apply sealant/adhesive immediately after evaporation

HANDLING AND STORAGE

Aro-Seal® 1109 should be stored in the original cartridges in a cool, dry place, at a temperature range of between 5°C and 25°C.  In these conditions it has a storage life of at least 6 months.
