Henko R300 Two Component All Weather PU Adhesive

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Henko R300 All Weather is designed for bonding seam tape to artificial grass and for general repair applications. It is suitable for most types of artificial grass and in particular sports pitches and can be used in damp and dry conditions.

The Henko R300 has received specification for Football clubs including Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Manchester City, as well as many other premier league clubs.

The thixotropic properties of this glue will ensure economic usage and good contact between uneven surfaces.

PREPARATION AND APPLICATION

Ensure that the surfaces to be bonded are smooth, clean and free from dust or other deposits.

Slight moistening of substrates improves the curing rate and gap filling properties. The two component R300 adhesive is best used between 5ºC - 30º.  Beware of too much water.  We recommend a preliminary compatibility test before bonding of desired substrates.

Mixing instructions:

Mix 'part A' thoroughly using the Henko mixing tool or similar item.

Leave to rest for 2-3 minutes before adding 'part B'.  

Ensure that Part A and B are mixed together thoroughly for a recommended time of at least 2 minutes and with the Henko mixing tool.

Leave to stand for approximately 10 minutes before applying to the grass.  This is an important step as it starts the curing process and ensures the adhesive bonds to its best ability.

Pressing the materials during curing is necessary to obtain the highest bond strength and should be done within the 20-30 minute open time. Presure upon joints is always advised to obtain the highest bond strength.

Cured adhesive has to be removed mechanically.

Handling and Storage

Henko R300 should be stored in a cool, dry place, at a temperature range of between 5°C and 25°C. In these conditions it has a storage life of at least 9 months.
