
Silicone Rubber Sheet is used to protect delicate veneers during a press bonding cycle. It takes away the hardness of a metal press platen providing a cushion pressure to the veneer, helping preserve veneer features such as rough sawn texture and burr/curl detail. Can be used in both cold and hot presses, withstanding a maximum temperature of 230 degrees C

Silicone Rubber Sheet is laid between the press platen and the veneer board, providing a softer pressure to a feature veneer whilst the adhesive curing cycle takes place. If feature veneers are being bonded to both sides of a core board 2 x Silicone Sheets will be required, for both top and bottom protection. Can be used from ambient room temperature up to 230 degrees C.
